  • First legal outdoor beer of 2017 - Yay! I am going to count this as a MINI-REVIEW because we dropped in for a single beer. It was a sunny and semi-warm spring Saturday April 8 and we walked up into the hood specifically to check out Bandit. A friend of ours had recommended it and we wandered up Dundas not entirely sure where it was. But we were in luck and we found it just minutes before 2PM when it was opening. We were the first onto the outdoor patio and had a Dundas West Coast IPA - which we had somewhere else in canned form before. A very nice IPA. The place filled up fast - like really fast. The service was attentive and didn't suffer as the place got busy. By the time we had our beer and were on the way out it was full - inside and out. So for out first legal outdoor beer of the season - Bandit gets four stars. We will return. PS - our first outdoor beer of the 2017 season was back in early March on the beach at Marilyn Bell Park and then another one last weekend out by Port Credit, also on the beach.
