  • When we first arrived, it felt very uncomfortable and we thought we walked into wrong place. There was an Indian wedding or birthday party going on as the places was filled with indians in their beautiful dresses. The person working the front desk was also Indian and a filipino male who checked us in. There are only 2 levels. So its pretty small. As we got to our room, i didn't have much of a good impression. Hallways seemed narrow and everything a bit old/outdated. The room seemed functional but was very hot/muggy as we walked in. There was an AC unit on the wall but didn't work and saw a giant portable AC on the floor. Thinking, oh goodness this is ghetto and was about to panic. Decided, i cant do this and walked to front desk asking them if there was a room with a working AC. He said theres AC in room. He was nice and went into our room to teach us how to work it. Turns out previous guest stole battery from the remote. He came back in leas than 5min and showed us how to work it. Then told us the portable was for temporarily used as heater if needed until they get their unit fixed. Even laughed with us no way that would be for AC as its too loud for it. Glad he notices that. He was really nice and helpful. Thank you. Generally, room is tiny but again functional. The window in room leads to dining room. Very weird to have that as a view but interesting. Clean pretty clean except the coffee bag i found had food dropping leftover it (see pictures) and thats gross. Housekeepers need to be careful and make sure to check all areas of the room when cleaning. Very important to customers. They have a working fridge/mini freezer which is always good and a microwave. They have free continental breakfast. -Toast/waffles/Cereals -Scrambled eggs/bacon/sausages and Ham -Coffee and tea selections which are not bad -Juices but those are kinda gross -Muffins and fruits Very convenient location if you like a nearby evening entertainment ad it is a few minutes to the Race Track and Casino, a market and gas station. Away from the crazy main city. Parkings plenty (if there is no banquet going on). Service a bit meh. I think its owned my a Indian lady and there are always an Indian banquet going on during weekend. Generally, you get what you pay for. Place is a bit old/outdated but totally functional, pretty clean with a descent complimentary breakfast. So wont complain for the price you pay and wont mind coming back if I ever go back to visit Toronto.
