3.5 stars for above average Italian but not my favorite in Vegas (prefer Scarpetta).
Fiamma is located in the MGM across from Nobu in the restaurant strip area.
* Burrata - 4.5 stars: Uber creamy and delicious.
* Short rib ravioli - 4 stars: They're famous for this, was rich but good and the best pasta of the night hands down.
* Vongole - 2.5 stars: Lacked umami and the noodles were not al dente enough.
* Kale red pepper pasta - 3 stars: Decent, but dominated by the red pepper flavor.
* Tiramisu 3.5 stars - Not the traditional presentation, served like a parfait. Was decent but I prefer more cream.
* Chocolate bread pudding - 4 stars: Was dense and rich and unlike any other bread pudding I've had. Had an addictive texture but not anything special.
Service was painstakingly slow, impossible to flag down the server. The food was very mediocre especially given expectations for upscale restaurants you pay a premium for on the strip. While I left full, I was unsatisfied and would recommend Scarpetta instead for Italian.
