  • I did not know there was even a review of the Metroparks! The Cleveland Metroparks in the Bedford area is some the most beautiful, vivid and picturesque scenery you will EVER see in Ohio outside of the Hocking Hills region! I LOVE to hike and so does my roommate and we have hiked in SEVERAL locations all over Bedford in the Metroparks. The scenery, the foliage, and just the idea of connecting with the outdoors in Bedford's Cleveland Metroparks will help you look past whatever might be going on in your life and remind us all to appreciate what the world once was and take a moment to envision what that would have been like and remember that as times change these preserved areas barely change. Trees might fall and erosion on the cliffs might change the scenery but it is still there to be remembered and appreciated. For the experienced hiker, there are SEVERAL abandoned but not forgotten horse trails with a mile of the downtown Bedford area and are some very challenging yet stimulating trails for anyone who truly appreciates the outdoors! I cannot wait to get back out there!
