I REALLY wanted to like this place because it's SO dang close to the office BUT...I didn't.
I had a mani & pedi before vacation with shellac - which is always an up-charge so no surprise there.
Upon entering, it's dirty...I KNOW the building is old, but it was dirty & the displays were dusty. It smelled like microwaved food...I dunno, doesn't make you want to put your bare feet near any tools.
I think sisters own it and they're not all too friendly - unless they've been drinking and are smoking at the side of the building..even then...it's kinda awkward.
There was nothing pedi about the pedi....nothing other than soaking my feet in a foot bath and having them rubbed with sugar for 10 seconds then rinsed off.
Mani - no - my cuticles didn't get trimmed and I only had polish applied.
Kind of a "who gives a #%^) " attitude, though I tried joking around with them to no avail. I'm a pretty funny/happy/outgoing person...I TRY, believe you me.
All this for $130....including tip.
I'll save my $$ and seriously head to the little Vietnamese jam down the street. It's 1/3 of the price for twice the work....and at least their only issue is that they don't actually speak English.
Sorry gals, I really wanted to support you, but it's just not going to happen.
