| - Right off the top, we were 20 minutes late for our 5:30 reservation and they held our table for 4. Then we had the pleasure to meet, Mark our server. As with other reviews, he elevates your experience. He is very knowledgeable and engaging. We got margarita flat bread and little neck clams for appetizers. The crust on the flat bread was done to perfection, just the right crunch. The clams have the best broth to be soaked up by the equally tasty bread. 1st round was The Boulevardier, a very nicely done bourbon based drink, but it was quickly topped by a smooth View Carre, an El Diablo a fine representative for tequila, and a mock tail of club soda, cucumber, a touch of sweet and sour and mint, it was very refreshing. Our meals were the Linguini & Clams, Pappardelle, New York Strip and Bone in Pork Chop. Everything was cooked to our expectations. The stand out was the Pork Chop. I let Mark setup the entire entree and he delivered. It was cooked medium with the spice rub and blue cheese crust, and Sprouts and Swine side. There is nothing I can say to describe the taste, just the best pork and brussel sprouts I've ever had. Bottom line, Herbs & Rye is "THE" place to eat and drink in Vegas. Oh, and the donuts are a fantastic ending!
