We finally decided to give this place a try. We went in and placed our order to go. It took close to 30 minutes for the order to be ready. Not too bad, but seemed a little long considering there were only 2 other people there. Oh well, not that big of a deal. We ordered a couple of gyro plates and some fettucine alfredo. The gyros weren't bad...not the best I've had but not awful. For about $7.50 you get meat, salad (pretty good), rice, and 2 pitas. A pretty good value. They definitely needed more gyro/tatziki sauce so if we go back we will be sure to order some extra ($.45 each). The pasta was terrible. It literally tasted like one of those frozen entrees but cost $5.95...and the garlic bread that was included was pathetic. I was pretty disappointed but I guess I should've figured with a name like George's Gyros that the gyros would be the star of the show. Personally, I like Haji Babas in Tempe MUCH better, but for days when I just don't want to make the drive, this will work.
