| - I stayed there during CES 2016. The rooms were ok, faucet leaked in the tub non-stop but you couldn't hear it in the bedroom. Place was good to sleep. unfortunately I kept having to walk through the casino to get to an Uber or a Lyft which always ended up parking in a different location, and something there smells horrible.
Don't get me wrong, I've smelled smoke before, and smoke cleaners. This smell, which seems concentrated in a couple of areas, smells like burning cat and oranges mixed with bleach. It's a nasal ice pick.In my adult life I have never had to hold my nose due to smell before.
Now to be fair, other people I was with just said it smelled extremely bad where I was in pain. So maybe I'm the only one it smelled like someone driving an ice pick into my brain, but damn. All I can figure out is it's some sort of citrus-based smoke remover, perhaps it spilled. Maybe something burned. Do not know. I was there a week and would take gulps of air to avoid breathing near the spots.
Hallways on my floor had no visible signs for elevators. Not a big deal but it's walk down a bland hallway, oh, there's an ice maker, approach it and on the right you'll see another area where the elevators are. One of those things that seems to have been designed to purposefully screw with people who are drunk, stoned, or have a feat of being trapped in a never-ending hotel.
The staff that I met were friendly. We left out several hundred dollars worth of swag that remained unmolested, although I do suspect they may have wandered off with a ball of socks I left on the bed.
I should point out I didn't hate it, there was just nothing that really impressed me, and their ATM which I had to use to get on the cash only airport shuttle charged $6 for cash, so meh.
