  • DO NOT GO TO THIS TARGET. The customer service here not only from the associates but the managers is beyond horrible. I went in to this store to return two items that were purchase a few days before. I went in with my items and my receipt thinking it was going to be easy. However once it was my turn at the customer service desk the associate was frantic and overwhelmed with trying to handle the service station all alone. But I figured she would be able to do my simple return. My original transaction did have two different tenders. It was tendered with a target gift card and then my redcard. Since my return was less than the amount charged to my card I told her I would want me returned amount to be placed on my redcard. She said no problem and began to adjust it, however after she tried to do it she realized she didn't know what she was doing and that her manager would be able to help me. She asked me to wait until the manager came up which I was more than willing to do. After waiting around 10 plus minutes a manager finally came up her name is Rita. From the second she got there she was extremely rude and unprofessional she told me she would not be able to do override the option on the pos system and she would only be giving back a gift card. So I asked her to return all my items in the forms of payment I paid and than I would buy the additional three items that I am keeping. She than informed me she was not going to do that because I need the items to go into a bin for reshop. When I was just going to rebuy them. She said no she would need to but them in a reshop bin once again. Clearly she wasn't understanding me. I asked to speak to another manager and since there was no manager above her (so she said) I was directed to call the customer service number. After talking to the gentleman on the phone explaining my situation he asked me to get Rita in the phone. Well this time when Rita came back she made sure to bring a security guard with her. Like me a 125lb lady who wasn't even getting loud or causing a scene was going to do anything. I did not appreciate that and once again she proceeded to be extremely rude and not wanting to help me or listen to the gentlemen on the phone. After she repeated to the customer service agent on the phone that she was not going to be returning my items on my card she handed my phone back to me. I than continued my conversation with the gentleman he took my information down and I asked for a follow up call with the district manager. I ended up walking out without a return and I horrible horrible experience. Rita was rude, unprofessional, not understanding and is in need of training. I will not be returning to a target until I receive a follow up from corporate or the store manager. With the internet it is much easier to order online than to go to a store, and with an experience like this it will make me rethink of buying something from target when there is handful of other stores that I can shop with an be treated with excellent customer service.
