| - The girls and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. Only problem - we didn't have reservations anywhere and it was 11 AM Saturday morning. No worries, we whipped out an iPhone, went on opentable.com, and scored a reservation for 7:30 PM. Of course, being Vegas, we showed up 45 minutes late to dinner. Unlike Tao, they didn't give away our table and they didn't scold us. I like the Eiffel Tower Restaurant already! Did I mention we all wore jeans to dinner? Score!
Yes, this is a very romantic restaurant; yes, there is a beautiful view. Service was impeccable, decor very lovely, yada yada. Really though, it was all about the food. We started off with cocktails - I recommend the Autumn in Paris (it's like a pear slushee, with booze). For an appetizer I had the sea scallops (Sauteed Sea Scallops, Cauliflower Mousseline,Riesling Jus). Best. Scallops. Ever. I don't even like cauliflower! For my entree, I opted to try the sea bass (though next time, I'm all about the venison). The sea bass was perfectly cooked, and served with potatoes and bacon (helllooooo!!! How awesome is that??). But the best part of the meal was dessert. My friends and I are all greedy beyotches, so we each ordered our own souffle: chocolate, pistachio, and banana. Each was amazing, but the banana took the cake for me. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm going to order all 3 just for myself.
Tab: 2 cocktails, one appetizer, one entree, one souffle = $119 (not including tip).
