sin city plumbing was mediocre overall. I called and made an appointment for rooter service and Jasmine was pleasant on the phone. I wasn't thrilled with the 4 hour window and their policy that if you don't answer the phone when they call when they're on their way, they skip you. But they were a referral so I made the appointment.
so my window was noon-4p. what really ticked me off was when I called at 3p to find out the status, the guy had totally forgotten about me and he was on the other side of town. lucky I called otherwise i'd be sitting around at 4p waiting for them wondering what happened.
what made me even more irritated was when I called the office to complain, their first response was that it was b/c the previous job took longer than expected. When I told them that their tech had already confessed to forgetting then all they said was sorry.
They then called me back and said that the owner has approved a discount of TEN WHOLE DOLLARS. To me that was more insulting than doing nothing for me waiting around for them for the entire afternoon.
they did show up at about 430p, it took them about 10 minutes to clear my clog and they were off. I was so irritated I paid them the extra $10. if it were my business (and I am a small biz owner), I would have just done it for free especially since it was a 10 minute job.
I realize that people make mistakes, but how one resolves the mistake is most important. Worst thing that you can do is to try and BS your way out of it!
PS - They didn't even notice that I didn't take the discount!
