Went here yesterday after finding that Antique Depot, my jam, was closed for the day. Dang it! When I go to an antique store, I'm on the lookout for two things, and two things only - 1: furs 2: old kitchen utensils. This place had both, and a fur cape that I was considering getting but decided against it. Why? Basically, I wanted to sleep on it, and I don't want to support a business that jacks up its prices.
I saw an 1890's Enterprise Manufacturing cherry pitter that I wanted but they were charging $56 bucks for it! WTF?! An equally sized, same cast iron, with a table vice grip mount meat grinder goes for $10 at other antique stores (which I bought back in CA.) There's not a chance in hell it's worth that when they're selling for $5-$20 elsewhere.
This place is huge but I can't support a place that tries to sell an old wall mounted coffee grinder for more than $250. They have some cool stuff but they're pricing their items for way more than they're worth.
