| - As close as I'm going to get to In 'n' Out Burger on the East Coast. They have a similar model of doing just a few things well, instead of trying to be all things to all people. I like that. The burger meat is fantastic--really juicy and not too greasy. The buns are a bit wimpy, though, and by the time you finish a double patty with cheese, it's flattened to the consistency of a chewy wrap. The fries are pretty decent, and I tried a milkshake, which was a delight. All of that set me back about what you'd pay for a sit-down restaurant meal, though. Even before I got the milkshake, you're hard pressed to get out of there for less than a 10 for a burger and fries, though. I suppose that also speaks to the quality, since it definitely is a step or two above your average fast food chain. All in all, it's just fine, but not something I would seek out on any sort of a consistent basis, or treat with the reverence of the aforementioned In 'n' Out.
