  • Based on word of mouth and some reviews, I had sky-high expectations for this establishment. It was OK. The setting is nice, right next to the capitol building. But form a food and service perspective it was average to above average. The draft and bottle beer selection is legit, but mostly focused on regional selections which was disappointing. The server was helpful and the food came out fast and was tasty - especially the cheese curds and the sandwich platters. But it just seemed like.....a classy deli. From an ambiance perspective I didnt get the sense we could settle in and enjoy several drinks without taking a table away from the next touristy group. Perhaps it may be different in another section of the establishment, as we sat near the entrance and hostess booth. I'll go back, but my hopes of this being the go-to eatery with amazing drinks is dwindling...
