I went into Pep Boys with out reading any sort of review on this place. That was a mistake. The only thing that I required was a simple tire change on all four tires and a simple alignment. There were no warning lights that were on my dashboard when I dropped my car off. When i went to pick up the car after it was all said and done, they proceeded to hand me a part of the car with the most basic of descriptions "its no longer working". A few days later I headed over to the Nissan dealership for some clarity on the situation. Upon talking with a technician, they said that if I didn't have any sort of warning or sensor issue when I went in, there was no way that when they replaced the tires it was just no longer working. After learning more about the part, I went back to the store to talk to a manager and received some shoddy excuse that these parts break on other companies cars so that's what happened to my sensor. Another excuse that I received about this part is that the inside of the gauge is corroded, when there appears to be nothing wrong with the piece or anything out of the ordinary from the 3 remaining sensors on the other tires.
Now I need to drive around with tire warning lights on my car as I refuse to pay an additional $130 for a part that was working when I took it into the shop to begin with. I would have expected a little better customer service from a place where I had just spent around $750 in total.
Will no longer use this establishment and will gladly drive a good 20-30 minutes out of my way to have work done by a Nissan dealer technician from now on despite having to pay for a little pricier labor.
