We moved to Las Vegas today and went cruising around for supplies for our house. En route to some places after lunch at the Fat Greek we were fat and happy and sort of in a food stupor but as soon as we saw the International Food market we both cried out- Voila!!
We moved from Los Angeles County where we had many Armenian markets and places to find amazing German products like Schreiner's In Montrose, so we wanted to locate some sources in Southern Nevada.
This place is massive- from fish grill baskets to Pig uterus, bulghur wheat to spicy mustards, kitchen doodads to duck egg yolks, and trifruit marmalade to quail eggs, we were mesmerized.
We found luscious pepper spread, gooseberry preserves, capers, pumpernickel bread and pickled ginger.
A $10 annual membership gets us a 5% discount on everything.
I saw some of those delightful little items to please my dear Bulgarian- German husband for gifts in the future, especially since he held so many little packages of memories in his hand and dreamed of special meals too cook for me.
We shall return with great enthusiasm For exploration!!
