Went to get my watch battery replaced and the jeweler ended up smashing the crystal face of my watch in the process. I was told the part would need to be ordered and it would take a week and they would call me when it was ready. Two weeks later, I finally call to see why I hadn't been contacted, only to be told that they were "shipped the wrong part" and the part would arrive in ANOTHER week. I couldn't believe that no one had bothered to call me, especially since it was their gross negligence that caused the initial issue. I shared my frustrations and threatened to call the BBB, and within 2 hours the part "suddenly arrived" and my watch was fixed.
I understand that accidents happen, however the unprofessional handling of this incident is unforgivable. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that I was very understanding at the time of the original incident. I will NEVER return and warn all prospective customers.
