I went into The Bookshop looking for a specific book, my copy of Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" was well worn and was recycled last year. It's a Christmastime tradition of mine to read the book. I was almost done with the book I had on my person so I poked my head in to find something new to read.
This is a used bookstore so I knew I had a 50/50 chance of finding what I wanted to and this instance I didn't. I'm not cross about it, only Dolores Umbridge would be unhappy about that because Dolores is unreasonable. It can't be helped.
What I liked about "The Bookshop" was that it was clean, well-organized and used their small space well. Everything was well-marked, easy to understand and they had a good selection of books. They had the seasonable books set aside as their own display as well which was nice. I would have bought several books had I not flown in; they had a lot of good choices and older books as well.
I really liked that this store didn't smell like old junk as some used bookstores can. I wish I had more time to look around this gem.
