Based on my experience I would not recommend using this business for your move. I hired Executive Moving for a cross-country move and there were many inconsistencies and complications that happened along the way. In a nutshell, the main highlights are:
1) The actual charge was higher than what they quoted us.
2) Our items arrived 24 days after the pick-up date (the date that we loaded our items onto their truck). Please note, we were informed that we would receive our items within 10-14 days after that date. I am ashamed to say they played a smart move on us by using the verbiage "first available delivery date" in the contract. After we called to complain, they explained to us that in the contract we had agreed that the delivery date would be within 10-14 days of that first available delivery date, but what actually happened was at the time we signed the contract in person, the Sales Representative assured us that the first available delivery date was the date that our items would arrive at the new home. It is hard to argue the meaning of "first available delivery date". We called many times throughout the waiting period to obtain a status update on our items, and a lot of times Customer Service did not pick up or respond to our voicemails until we called the Sales Department and had them transfer us to Customer Service. Customer Service could not give us an estimated delivery date of our items. I am not sure what purpose Customer Service serves if they are not well versed about their truck dispatches, but I digress.
3) Our items arrived in bad condition. Many of our packages arrived humid and moist.
4) One of our boxes were missing. Although they told us over the phone that they would work on locating the box, the box was never found and they never gave us a call to tell us they could not find it.
What was thought to be a hassle-free move turned out to be a catastrophe. Please do not make the same mistake we did.
