  • I love REI. I returned a used backpack that I bought from them due to it being wrong for my body type. They took it back no questions due to my being a loyal member. The gentleman at the counter pointed me to a sales associate named Judy in the backpack section. I just want to say how amazing and knowledgeable she was. Judy spent over an hour with me showing the proper alignment and how to position the backpack on my body and what straps to start with. We tried a couple others but I kept going back to the Deuter brand. I'm kind of thin and bony. This pack provided extra cushion for my back and hips. Thank you REI and especially to Judy for treating me with respect and kindness. If you don't know how to choose the right pack for you, ask for Judy. She will point you in the right direction.
