| - Definitely not the nicest place I've ever stayed but it was adequate for a couple days of relaxation. Doesn't have the typical 'resort' type feel, though they certainly charge like they do. The beds were small and the walls were extremely thin, I could hear everything in the two adjacent rooms and in the hallway. Also, my room was literally a 6-7 minute walk from the main lobby, it got really annoying by the second day I was there.
The hotel is in dire need of some updates, which it appears they may have been doing on the other side of the resort. And the worst part of everything by far was the food, Ko'Sin Restaurant was terrible. Overpriced and terrible, especially breakfast. The filet did NOT taste like a filet at all and the waffles at breakfast (not the buffet, the actual waffle entree) tasted like just normal stale bread. It's very clear that they know full well that you don't have really any other options to eat. And they take full advantage of that with the poor quality and outrageous pricing. The food at the bar out in the pool area was much better. Still not good, but much better. I literally purposely didn't eat the last day I was there until I left the resort. Not to mention that there were flies EVERYWHERE. A few fans out in the pool restaurant area would do that place a lot of good, there were none.
The pool area itself is decent and spacious, though the water itself is very shallow. The decor throughout was pleasant, nice Indian vibe to it all. The landscape and environment outside and surrounding the resort was really pretty but other than that there was nothing to write home about.
I probably won't come back.
