When we first walked in, the owner warmly welcomed our family of five. We had stopped at 3 other restaurants with long waits and decided to go restaurant to restaurant until we could find a place that would take us right away. The owner, and his snappy personality seated us instantly and gave us fresh polenta with roasted zucchini that included two homemade sauces, on the house. The waiter then gave us fresh homemade bread. I highly recommend their lightly breaded eggplant appetizer with ricotta cheese on top. I usually ask for my salad dressing on the side, luckily I didn't and experienced the best Italian salad dressing I have ever had, it has a hint of lemon in it. The very moist polo dinner is fantastic. La Dolce Vita was a very nice surprise, considering we just stumbled upon it. We will be back!
