I am used to shopping at Whole Foods in the USA so I thought this one would be well staffed and full of fresh food. I was surprised to find that some of the staff (Well at least 1) is quite rude. Also, I purchased bagged mini carrots and got home to find that they were slimy and smelled and tasted very off. I also bought expensive cashews from the bulk dept. I noticed all week as I was eating them, that they had a fishy smell and many had black spots. I looked this up on the internet and it said that this means they are rancid. Also, a bag of organic potatoes I bought were a little soft and had white roots growing from them. I could not open the bag at the store to check this, and I just assumed that since its Whole Foods, things would be fresh.
If I am paying THAT Much for food, I expect better than this. I had no idea any Whole Foods could be like this. In the States, I had nothing but stellar experiences at this grocery chain.
I will be buying my food from The Big Carrot from now on...except for the meat and cheese, which is still better and more reasonably priced at Whole Foods.
