| - First, my apologies to Wicked Spoon for my 2 star review from last year. That was my hanger speaking and I deeply regret my actions towards you and the hate for the long line of diners waiting to eat your delicious food.
Now that that's out of the way, I FINALLY got to experience Wicked Spoon this year and was completely satisfied with my experience. Surprisingly, my husband and I went around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday and there was practically NO line at all! We walked right up to pay and waited maybe 5 minutes in the queue to be seated.
FOOD: Wayyyyyyy better than Bacchanal. I love that the dishes are individually portioned and the presentation is pretty nice for a buffet. Some of my favorites included the Greek Salad, Charcuterie and Cheese selection, Jamaican Jerk Tacos, Shrimp and Grits, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, and of course my top two buffet favorites: Shrimp Cocktail and Snow Crab Legs. The Prime Rib was a little undercooked for my liking-- I saw other diners asking the meat carver to place their pieces on the grill top, but you had to wait awhile for him to cut, cook, and serve-- meh.
SERVICE: We waited almost 30 minutes for water to be brought to our table, but everything else was great after that! Empty plates were quickly cleared, HH cocktails were brought more speedily than the water, and our server was friendly.
Overall, I have to agree with the accolades that this is the best buffet on the Vegas Strip. A bit pricey at around $50 per person, but totally worth it!
