The saving grace is I have a six flags season pass from the states which is good at every six flags park so I got in for free
Extremely crowded; we went on a Tuesday in the summer so I was expecting a bit of a crowd, but this was crazy. I'm an amusement park vet and have overall pretty good luck at amusement parks but not this day. Everything seemed to be like a 45min wait -- and I'm just talking about rides like the monorail. Waited in line for the giant wooden coaster for about 20 min before we realized they were only running 1 train on each track -- do the math with me here: wooden coasters are 2 abreast, with about 5 cars per train and each car has 2 rows. That's 20 ppl. This is a giant wood ride, so it takes about 2.5 minutes for a train to complete a circuit. That's 20 ppl in a line of about 500 every 2.5 minutes -- oh and that's not counting loading and off loading all the ppl, checking restraints, making announcements, etc. what could possibly be the point at which they add a second train? Moved about 15ft in 20 minutes so we bailed. Also, why the hell would you do VR on Goliath? Your coaster that already has the longest wait in the park your going to add VR so you can increase the wait time even more due to needing to distribute and assist passengers with the VR equipment? Not the best move.
