  • I have been a big fan of MAC cosmetics for years and have loved the service and fun attitude of the make up pros in Santa Monica and other LA locations. But here at the Forum Shops in Vegas, expect to be treated like a street-walker by people who could care less what your hoping for in service !!! Terrible service, And what a downfall compared to my numerous previous visits.. My experience today on my birthday when I dragged my sister here to the otherwise completely empty shop to get false lashes and eye make up applied: the indifferent and hideously made-up make up artist who attended me may either have had an exceptionally low IQ, or she just doesn't care about helping people find the right make-up. She began WITHOUT cleaning off my old eye makeup, and just applied Primer then hideous cakey eye makeup to my eyes which she insisted looked great, despite my reservations... She then tried to bully me into buying the BROWN eyelashes that she applied to my eyes insisting that "its stealing if you don't buy them" Really??!! ..... No Thanks! Needless to say I ran out of that otherwise empty store and went straight to the Armani Counter where I was treated well and had beautiful make up applied for my night out. And there was no difference in price since they told us we had to purchase a minimum of $50 at the MAC store whereas at Armani there is no hard sell.. You just love the stuff and want it and its definitely worth the treat, compared to the cheap treatment you will receive at the MAC store! Never Again will I set foot in this shop. Obviously times are hard in Vegas, but you reap what you sow! .. They should close this shop down considering the obvious decline in service which many others have expressed here as well. Too bad as the make up is still fun and I have fond memories of previous visits for lashes for a big night out.
