| - I'm going to be nice on this review, as they sort of cater to gluten free, so I can't be totally opposed.
I don't go the stampede. Being born and rasied here I've lived through enough and it's not my thing. I don't like what it represents, I don't like the people, the crowds or the overall fakeness. Sorry, but this is my preogative.
As said in another post, I will go out one night during stamede, but it's not usually to the grounds, usually a tent. We decided let's go check it out.
Went late afternoon yesterday. Got in easy, there was no line. Did a tour of the place, we're mostly on the hunt for beer gardens. I had forgot my ID in the car, so we found one of the gluten free places (Fresh Cut Fries), even their gravy was GF, which was epic, as I can't think of the last time I had gravy. The rest of the herd got Bulls Eye Burgers (I was slightly sad). We did a tour of the grounds, then left to go to Wild Horse.
I can say it will be a couple years till I hit the grounds again, it's the same every year and I've been it enough time for my life time.
