I attended my first ballet here. We saw Romeo and Juliet on a Saturday night. I'm glad we were able to attend since it was the last weekend of the performance for the current ballet season. Prior to the performance, NBT presented Insights, an educational discussion that offers patrons an opportunity to further engage with the ballet, special guests, and multi-media presentations. This was great since we are newbies to the ballet, and this was an excellent opportunity for us to have a chance to know what to expect. I really liked how the presenter highlighted certain scenes that we would see and explained what was happening and it's significance. I believe most of the ballet performances feature this prior to the show. The Smith Center itself is a grand performing arts center in downtown Las Vegas.
