This review is from a stay that took place in June. After a long day of driving we checked in just after 10pm but didn't get to bed until after midnight because we were up and down the elevators trying to find a clean room with actual clean sheets.
We were shown three different rooms on 2 different floors and all three rooms had hair on the sheets. I don't mean a stray hair here or there that ends up in the fibers of the sheet after a washing, I mean multiple hairs to the point I could probably guess the race of each guest that slept in those sheets. Hairs in the bathroom. Dust on the furniture. A dress forgotten in the closet. Stains on the carpet and the sheets.....I could go on and on. I was respectful the entire time, but finally had to make it clear that this was unacceptable. Interestingly enough I still got attitude from the last guy I spoke to when I called the front desk! Wow.
I was finally fed up and decided to settle on a room but I asked them to bring me clean sheets. I waited another 20 minutes for clean sheets and then another 30 minutes for missing hospitality items (conditioner, coffee creamer, etc).
The only reason I am giving any star is for the young man who came to the room to bring me the sheets and the missing hospitality items. He wasn't even from housekeeping and it seemed like they had him running all over the property! Despite that, he was kind and apologetic, and was mindful enough to bring me an extra bottle of water. I really regret tipping the first hotel staff who showed me dirty room after dirty room. I would have gladly tipped the last young man those extra dollars because of his professionalism, humility, and hard work ethic.
