| - I bought the monthly unlimited, full service package when they first opened. With the high pressure sales, they sold a good story. I've been in a handful of times with no issues, other than the air freshener only lasting for an hour, and for the most part happy. Until today.
I had a small amount of cash rolled up into a visible pocket of my console. I had just delivered product to a customer and always put their money in that pocket until I deposit it. It was there when I left my car with them and no where to be found when I got back in my car to leave. The manager reviewed the tapes and from the looks of it, mostly about 100 feet back, or blocked views, he found no reason assume it was any of his employees. WHAT?
He did question ONE of the workers, who were in my car, and searched him but nothing was found. Of course. He didn't feel the 'need' to question any other employee because they are "church going people and would never steal."
Okaaaaay so why do you print 'MANAGE YOUR VALUABLES" on your claim tickets if you feel this kind of theft doesn't happen within your company. COME ON. He did offer me something to compensate the loss, like a quick detail, Ok cool, thanks... but who's to say something else won't be stolen? I doubt I'll be back and will be canceling my monthly membership with them.
To have a company who thinks none of their employees steal is just idiotic. I make good money and can recoup the money stolen and I'm 'church going' too, that's not the point. The point is he didn't thoroughly investigate the issue. I wasn't looking for a handout or anything free. I just wanted my money found. We know a lot of people around that area, A LOT and will make sure they are aware of this issue. Is this worth $24 to you Cobblestone?
We'll see what the regional manager has to say next, when I call him.
