| - The restaurant is beautiful. We had a fantastic view, facing the Bellagio fountains. The only 'bad' part was that we saw the fountains but could not hear the music that went with it.
The service is excellent and the menu variety is impressive. The food is delicious. I ordered the market green salad followed by the Alaskan wild cod. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the butternut squash soup, which is seasonal, followed by the salmon entrée, and those were delicious as well.
For dessert, we ordered a soufflé, which I recommend ordering as soon as you know you want it because it does take time to make. We were told that they were being started as soon as we got our entrées so that they would be ready. My friend ordered the chocolate soufflé which was delicious. I was told that the Apple soufflé was incredible so I ordered that. I was somewhat disappointed. It was not that impressive to me and I wish I would have gone with a different flavor. I would not recommend the Apple soufflé to anyone because I found it flat.
The prices are not cheap. For two of us, with one glass of Bordeaux wine per person, the appetizers, the entrées, and dessert, the total was around $250. There is a seven course tasting menu available that, without wine, is $145 per person, and with wine you have to add roughly about $90 per person.
The attire should be appropriate. Business casual is perfectly appropriate.
