  • Beware of this location because of unethical business practices. I rented from here last year and was given a car that was dripping wet. It made any minor damage and scratches difficult to see but I took the time to carefully inspect and document each and every scratch and a chip on the windshield which was acknowledged and signed off by the rental representative. I returned the car 2 weeks later and left Calgary but noticed an entry in my Visa card statement the following month showing an extra $265 charge. I called Hertz to ask and I was told it was for the chip on the windshield. I challenged and sent copies of the rental damage report prior to rental and they quickly stopped answering me. I then went Visa to file a dispute and a charge back and that took months to resolve and to finally get my $265 back. I searched online and found victims of the same scam from the same Hertz rental. I do not recommend this rental location and while you think that you might be getting a good deal upfront watch out for the extra charges. I got this rental through Priceline so I recommend that you don't use Priceline for car rentals in Calgary.
