I ordered 3 cakes online (9 days before I needed them) and on the day of my twin boys 10th birthday ( and nieces 23rd birthday) the store manager tells me that the person responsible for making the cakes DID NOT PRINT MY ENTIRE ORDER OUT AND THEREFORE DID NOT MAKE ONE OF MY PRE-ORDERED CAKES! By this time I was already hosting my kids party. When I called the store and asked if they could bring me my other pre-ordered cake ( so one of my 10 year old sons would not have to be without his birthday cake) the owner Ms. Olson replied "no" and wanted me to stop what I was doing and come get a random cake from her freezer... She did not even offer to try to make the cake I had preordered 9 days ago! I asked for my money back on the entire order and Ms. Olson refused. After speaking with Ms. Olson I realized she was extremely unprofessional (as she proceeded to call me back two additional times, interrupting my son's and nieces birthday parties in an attempt to have me travel back across town to pick up whatever cake she had in the freezer or just accept money back for the one missing cake???) So let me get this straight Ms. Olson, I should incur the cost of traveling back across town, miss out on a party that I am hosting to pick up any random cake you have left over in the freezer or just accept back the cost of one missing cake after I had already been to your store earlier in the day to pick up cakes I had pre-ordered 9 days prior??? Well Ms. Olson that is an extremely unprofessional way to do business. Not only should you have offered me the money back on my entire order (for such egregious behavior and oversight by you and your employees) but you should have apologized and asked how YOU could make this situation right, NOT how could I (the customer) figure out a way to travel back across town to accept any random cake you have left over in your freezer... Horrible way to run a business and by the looks of many other reviews on Yelp I suspect your business will continue to move down the road to U Swirl and Dairy Queen.
