  • My fiancĂ© and I recently bought a model home that is gorgeous but of course devoid of any widow treatments. We are going with a laid back modern beachside house theme and decided on plantation shutters for our windows. We did our research and had several companies come to give an estimate. Miranda with Southwest Blinds and Shutters was first. She was a consummate professional, listened to our ideas and what we wanted and made her recommendation, which wasn't the most expensive. No pushing any one product or another, but truly understood the direction we wanted to go and found the best product for us. She even understood that we were still shopping around! After 3 other estimates SW was by far the best option. We have 18 windows and one French door, so it was a large custom order. But after Miranda measured a second tech came a week later to confirm her measurement and the order was placed. The shutters arrived on the early end of their estimated delivery. The installers were on time and the whole installation only took about 4 hours. The installers reviewed each installed shutter with us to make sure it worked and provided trouble shooting tips. We then noticed we had missed a window when ordering and they ordered it on the spot. No problems!! We love the shutters and couldn't be happier. Will be recommending to our friends who need window treatments and highly recommend to our fellow Yelpers out there in the southeast valley!
