| - Worst dental experience ever. If you're thinking of going here- DON'T. I trusted all of the positive 5 star reviews on here only to be misled. I got a cleaning and a cavity filling done here and both times, the same dentist was super rough with my mouth. The first time he did the cleaning, it hurt and he claimed it was because my teeth being sensitive. Well, I've never had that issue at my old dentist while I've gotten cleanings so I brushed it off and figured it would be better on my next experience. That was a bad assumption. I've probably had 6 or so cavity fillings with my previous dentist so I know exactly how the procedure is. My jaw shouldn't HURT or be SWOLLEN the next day after a filling, but it was. I couldn't even eat the next day because of how rough he was handling my teeth. Your teeth should not be sensitive to eat with the next day after a cavity filling. I've had it done many times prior to this one and I've never had an issue with eating! I even had to put an ice pack up against my jaw because it was swelling so bad. It was even cracking everytime I yawned. Even during the procedure, there was some pain in between and I've never seen so much blood on the napkins they wipe on your mouth than I did from that day. Even from my cleaning visit, there was a lot of blood by them just carelessly scraping my gums (this was before they flossed my teeth). If you only care about nice staff, that's the only thing going for them. Other than that AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs unless you want someone to rough handle your teeth and make your whole mouth ache after a visit. WORST dentist ever. I will not be returning.
If they try to comment on this and say I never visited or my name is not on their roster, it's because I am going by a nickname. Trust me when I say my experience was unforgettable and in a bad way. Your dentist should make you feel better with your teeth. If you are ever sore or have a swollen mouth after any procedure, they were rough and careless with your teeth.
UPDATE: 1 week later and I can't even eat or drink anything on the left side of my mouth. I tried drinking cold water yesterday and ate ice cream today, but it was so painful that the pain went to my head. I'm telling you with as many cavity fillings and dentists I've dealt with, THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. It shouldn't be this sensitive, nor hurt this bad. I'm not sure what he drilled into, but this dentist is a young, rookie. Stay away.
UPDATE: went back to my old dentist to get my teeth checked out. They did X-rays and informed me that Healthy Smiles dentist drilled too close to my nerve for the filling and now I have to get a root canal. A ROOT CANAL!!!! This is BS. There was never any issues of this until I had my filling with Healthy Smiles Dental. They said that they caused me to have a damaged nerve after my filling. So thanks to Healthy Smiles Dental, I have to pay for THEIR mistakes. Please STAY AWAY!!!! I will never recommend this dentist for any services. They will ruin your teeth and make you pay more.
