If you're standing in line for brunch while you read this, please reconsider. There are probably a thousand places that are just as cute within walking distance. Get on your Yelp app and find one of them before you get cranky.
We came on a weekday late-morning for brunch and it was still packed with tourists. Which is not a bad thing per se, but it does overburden the staff, who were unsmiling and clearly in the weeds despite the off-hour.
Both of our orders were messed up, but we ate them anyway (see above under "cranky"). They were ok, but we're talking about straightforward variations on eggs and potatoes.
The space is beautifully designed, hovering somewhere between rustic and hip, but it was filled with flies (see above under "please reconsider").
Yelp has rarely steered me wrong, but this a disappointment that I (as a tourist) felt partly responsible for.
