Dr. Avila is very good, but the office staff is either overbooked or understaffed, resulting in a 15 minute or more hold time each time I call. Once you enter the office, the wait isn't so bad. Unfortunately, the notes that were sent to my insurance company were inaccurate, so the insurance refused to renew a necessary prescription. I was told I needed to contact the Ironwood staff to have them re-submit more accurate notes and they submitted the same notes as before! I was then asked to fax a copy of the notes to Ironwood (not sure why), then they would be corrected and resubmitted to the insurance company. I NEVER heard back from Ironwood.
