  • Let me start by saying I am NOT a fan of police officers and that is not a secret BUT... this morning I was arguing with my son about his seatbelt when we came up to his school and saw a police officer who saw him without his belt on. She pulled us over and much to my surprise was extremely professional, EDUCATIONAL, and helpful in speaking appropriately to my son. She helped verify everything my husband and I try to teach the kids everyday about the importance and safety of wearing the seatbelt and following the laws. She was all about educating us more then out for being authoritive and condescending. I appreciated that very much. I also appreciated the education she gave us on the laws. I completely respect someone who is in a position such as her who respects people like me who do the best they can every day but may fall short at times just because of the chaos that everyday normal life can bring. THANK YOU Officer Becker for treating me and my family as human beings and not as common everyday criminals!!
