While I guess a lot of what I'm saying is critical of the show, I still stay it's worth seeing. For those who are wondering about this show and the whole concept of whether hypnosis works or not here's the deal.
The #1 thing is that he only brings up willing people, and by willing that means "willing to play along". He still gets a few folks who don't play but he does a good job of getting them off the stage. Basically it's people being given a chance to be on stage and encouraged to do wacky things and they do that. In the end it's people up on stage acting funny.
The key is that Anthony Cools is a funny guy, the show is fairly raunchy, and it's a pretty good time. If you get hung up on whether hypnosis is real or not it'll hurt your chances of having a good time. It's also fairly quick, maybe 70 minutes long. I bought tickets at those half price places on the street and paid about $40 versus the $70 VIP price at the door.
