Patio with a lake view is nice in the summer. The food and service are consistently flat. Clam chowder is generally the best part of the meal. It's pretty light on clams considering its name, but there's a nice smoky quality to cream of potato base that I really like. Crab cakes don't taste fresh...not fishy or offensive in any way, just not fresh. Yesterday, i tried the stuffed tilipia, it was just meh. That's kinda the thing with Captain Bill's. It's not so terrible that you would actively avoid it, but not good enough that you'd ever go out of your way to eat there.
One side note, our server (Asia) was a notch above what I'd come to expect from this place. She was attentive and still seemed to care. That's not always the case here.
