| - Four Peaks hits two birds with one stone.
Just as I get the craving for a decent beer after work, I remember Four Peaks and its delicious food (garden burger, anyone?)
The hefeweizen is my favorite hand-crafted ale, followed by the Raj IPA (more alcohol, same price, lots of flavor). But the other beers are good and not to be ignored (unless you're the DD).
Thumbs up on the pizza (Mediterranean white, please), nachos (a half order should do just fine), and chef salad (surely worth the price for the amount of turkey, ham and candied walnuts they pile on that pound of lettuce).
Items to stay away from might be the beer bread. I know several people who might be offended by that statement, but the times I've ordered it, my taste buds were unfulfilled. And...well, I guess that's it.
I've also noticed, in the past year or two, a proliferation of trying-too-hard-to-be-good-looking people after work and late on a Friday or Saturday. I know it's Scottsdale, but Four Peaks was meant to be a casual hangout with friends, I think, not a venue for self promulgation.
That's it! Hope my review helped.
