Was at the Ritz for lunch. Disappointing that they got rid of their brunch. We wanted a nice downtown holiday setting and the Ritz has always been good.
A person in our party doesn't do elevators. Total issue. They have to get a security person to walk you up through the worst areas of the hotel. It took 1/2 an hour to get a security person to assist us. Terrible customer service. They apologized but with attitude and annoyance at the situation.
The lunch was lovely, server great and meal good but the first impression kind of ruined it.
The Ritz used to be the standard and the bar was high. Not at all anymore. They could careless about customer service.
Sadly we'll be going elsewhere in the future.
