  • I feel that there needs to be a separation for Fright Dome and Adventuredome- if only to balance out reviews for Adventuredome. Fright Dome is its own entity and deserves to be recognized as such. Every October, for the past decade, Adventuredome inside the Circus Circus Casino has been transformed into a massive haunted house/theme park. It is consistently ranked as one of the scariest attractions in the US by numerous outlets. I for one, don't scare easily, as I've worked in dozens of Haunted Houses from childhood to adulthood; that being said, I did get a few scares here and there in Fright Dome. In all honesty, I feel that it is priced fairly reasonably, considering that here in NYC, you'll pay about the same (without Fast Pass) for a Haunted House that you get only 15 minutes in after spending hours in line. There's 5 hours of operation (7-12) each night, and you could spend the entire time here and enjoy every minute of it. This year they had 5 haunted mazes and a 6th one for Fast Pass holders. The 6th one was very unique, in that you can go through by yourself, which definitely adds to the scare factor and is a new and brilliant concept if you ask me. Speaking of the Fast Pass- it's totally worth the $10-15 (depending on the night) more in ticket price, as we were able to fly passed the line, like an apparition through a closed door- not to mention the exclusive access to Hotel Argento. There's over 250k square feet for you to roam around and piss your pants in. 6 mazes, along with a4d show, numerous other scare zones, a roller coaster and tons of other rides. I won't go into too much detail about each of the mazes, but they do a pretty good job- and each one takes at least 10-15 minutes. I noticed some people complaining about their guides moving too fast, but that's part of the scare; they want to abandon you, so you get "lost" for a second, making it that much more intense. We were lucky enough to be at the front of the line (some may disagree about going first) most times, so we could hear the narration from each guide. I think Fright Dome is totally worth the money, and is in fact the best haunted experience that I have ever had. My only qualms, are that there isn't ample signage designating/differentiating between the regular line and the Fast Pass line. Also, there is no way to use coupons when buying tickets online. We ended up going to the box office (which opens at 5 each day) to buy tix and saved on the processing fee, plus used the $5 off coupon. I definitely recommend Fright Dome.
