What happens in Vegas shouldn't just stay in Vegas. What a great experience. Just came back from a three day two night weekend here. We originally were booked at Encore but at arrival quickly realized that we were greeted by a whole bunch of twenty some year olds whose talents were to hold their barfing till they found a bush. We decided that we wanted to be in a different environment. We showed up at the Four Seasons and Vegas went from party town to blissful town. The hotel is right next to the Mandalay Bay. The hotel itself is very quiet and far from the cigarette air freshener other Vegas hotels have but one escalator down and you are in the middle of the Vegas we all know. The hotel has its own quiet pool but also has access to the Mandalay Bay beach club which includes a lazy river, wave pool, lagoon, and regular pool. The service here is beyond good. Some great things: Sunday brunch for $39 was amazing. Not too much variety but enough with a high quality of food. The Bloody Mary bar was so good. Each time our car was brought up by valet, two bottle waters were placed in the drink holders. Saturday night after a night of drinks, drinks, and more drinks, we got to the Four Seasons and at 4 am the doorman ran and got us 6 cold bottles of water. Exactly what our drunk and dehydrated asses needed. However, the coolest thing that happened was when the housekeeper came back to the door in the afternoon to explain that she noticed that I was missing one of my earrings and that she looked all over the room but could not find it and she wanted to know if I found it. Oh m gee!!! I never even asked her to look for my earring. I had lost it on the drive up and left the other earring in the bathroom in case it showed up. Now I understand that she was trying to cover her butt but that small touch truly touched me. She looked all over the room for it. Also, when we checked out, my husband explained that the pillows were soft and they said that they noted our account so if we ever stay at any Four Seasons they will make sure to change the pillows before we arrive. So great. Overall this hotel allows you to have the peace and quiet with the best pampering Vegas can supply all while being a step away from the action if your in the mood for that. A definite place we will be staying at over and over again.
