| - I went for my first ever experience at The Joint at this Phoenix location, since I was already in the area. I filled out the medical intake paperwork and I was given a card key to scan whenever I visit any location of The Joint. The woman at the front desk was very personable and pleasant. She explained everything about The Joint and was happy to answer my questions. She gave me a pamphlet to take home, which explained the different package plans available at The Joint. I saw Dr. Lee on this first visit and I liked him so much. First, he shook my hand and welcomed me. Then he sat down and took the time to look over my paperwork, discuss my concerns, and listen to me. He didn't rush, even though there was one person in the waiting room who needed to be seen. I told Dr. Lee about the pain I was in, my general areas of concern, and the chronic tightness and discomfort that I have. He listened patiently to everything I said and seemed genuinely concerned about my well-being. Dr. Lee appears to be a chiropractor who is less about "cracking" and "popping" and more about healing through gentle adjustment and pressure point release. He did some pressure point work and some stretching. He continuously checked in with me throughout the adjustment, asking me how things felt as we went along. He did do one "crack", but it wasn't overly forced or painful. Prior to going into The Joint, my neck pain was causing me difficulty even turning my head to the left while driving, (which is not safe at all). The discomfort was still there somewhat when I left The Joint that day, but I noticed that by the next day, the neck issue was almost completely resolved! Because of the relief I felt, and the reasonable per-visit price that comes with a pre-paid package, I decided to visit another franchise location. There, I bought a package that brings my per-visit price to around $17. Thankfully, the pre-paid package visits are good at any location of The Joint. I was quite displeased with my experience at The Joint in Goodyear. From now on, I may just drive the extra distance to see Dr. Lee in Phoenix.
