| - Coach and Willies ain't bad. I ended up here almost every Sunday during the NFL season to watch their Season Ticket, because lo, i couldn't get DirecTV in my downtown building because i'm facing the wrong f'ing direction.
Ugh.
So, C&W's gladly hosted me, and honestly, i found this little place welcoming and appropriate for my Sunday Vince Young worship.
The food is average to slightly-above-average. Their pizzas are just OK, though they are wood fired. Their ingredients are bland. Same for the salads -- pretty average and I just have an aversion to iceberg. But their wings are mighty tasty and large ... and $5 on Sundays! They are obviously frozen, and their sauce come to find out isn't even made in-house, but whatever, I'm here for football and beer.
As for those two things, C&W's is ace. They have plenty of screens and lots of positions around the bar for viewing multiple games. Every time I asked the manager to switch to the Titans game, he always obliged, even asking where i preferred to sit so he could change the appropriate TV. Very nice touch.
The beers are large and VERY cheap ... $2.50 for a 20oz (i think 20oz) Bud Light and they have some other interesting beer choices if you want more. For me, Bud Light is good enough for a cheap Sunday, beer-watching event. Oh, and their Bloody Marys are on special too and very tasty.
I would definitely recommend coming here for a sports-watching gathering or for pre-game festivities in the downtown area.
