| - I wanted to love this place. It's cute, great location, flowers and trees everywhere you look, fantastic patio, interesting menu. The reality is that parking is awful, birds whiz by your face and scamper across the awning constantly. Food was sub par, lacking in effort and overpriced. Cheese plate was lifeless, raspberry salad was uninspired and the turkey and brie sandwich we inquired about was "pre assembled" so we couldn't substitute for a different bread. The service was good and place seemed clean, think perhaps it's just not my cup of tea. I strive to find food made with love and lots of attention to detail. This seemed more pre made/churned out/ bland, etc. I know back in the 1990s this was the place to go, maybe a little reboot is necessary. Too many other options in South Scottsdale these days. Cute to look at from the outside. Enjoy your luncheons, ladies.
