In response to Gretchen's reply to our recent concerns at Embassy Suites in Scottsdale, during our 2 week stay, she proves by her response that she could care less. She is incorrect in that all guests are NOT treated alike. I read a recent review whereby a customer who complained about the daily parking fee had it waived by Gretchen. Furthermore, she did not reference that the front desk was prepared to charge us for parking for the length of our stay when we did not have a car for the 14 days. Now if that isn't cheating the customer, I don't know what she calls it. Do you just guess at the number of days one parks? Not well organized. Gretchen certainly made no reference to our complaint that we were charged for the full hotel amount of our stay 3+ months in advance when we were told by a male at their hotel on the phone that we would pay upon arrival as we had been doing for the past 9 years. The hotel used our financial information against our approval & for their gain. I have read Gretchen's replies to other negative reviews & she has totally side-stepped us compared to her replies to other customers. In the past, we have written many positive reviews about this hotel; even brought 2 other couples with us about 3 years ago. This management team is totally indifferent to its customers & needs to be brought to the top of the hotel chain. At Happy Hour, no room cards are checked so anyone could 'drop-in'. The attendants at Happy Hour are terrific & very personable & their lack of not checking room cards is not their fault; it lies with poor management organization. We have been treated unfairly on this trip & it has been very upsetting to us as seniors.
