Exciting to visit this place for the first time but we left with some disappointment. We are dining with another couple who are making their first visit to the restaurant as well. The hostess greets us and sits us right away near a very large party. So large that it took around 15 minutes for our server to greet us and to inform us that he has a large party as well. After reading through the wine list he tells me that I need to pick 3 or 4 different wines because they are out of around 1/2 of the list. Which leads me to a question why have such a list if you are only able to keep 1/2 of it available? We pick two wines which are not available, so he takes the issue up with the manager and is able to get us a wine which is more expensive at a lower price. So the server gets an A+ for making the extra effort. After a while, he comes back to take our food order and I jokingly ask if everything on the menu is available, and much to my surprise he rattles off 5-6 items that are not available. Including no scallops for my wife's shrimp and scallop risotto so it was shrimp risotto instead. Tasting the food and thinking about the meal overall it was very good. Holding back the star rating is the poor service and missing items on the menu and wine lists. If you are only going to stock 1/2 wine list, reprint the wine list. How can you run out of your standard menu items? And if your server has a large party to care for, don't give him another table of four.
