Another American Home Shield Story!!!! This company was assigned to diagnose my water heater issue. Lisa explained to me that a tech would need to diagnose my problem first and then order a water heater from American Home Shield so it would take a couple days. My water heater broke on Saturday so I called first thing on Monday morning. Not having water for 2 days is a health and safety issue. I told Lisa that I could not wait a couple days for a water heater and she said that I needed to call AHS and see if there was another company that could expedite service. She said she would keep my appointment until I called her back. I called AHS and was on hold for over an hour. Customer service agent at AHS was also rude and I finally got to talked to a supervisor. The supervisor also put me on hold for a long time. My phone call was and hour and 45 mins. Supervisor finally came back and told me that Lisa cancelled my appointment and that they did not have an appointment available until Wednesday. Wednesday would make 5 days without hot water. I called Lisa back at Advanced Home Services and she said that I told her to cancel my appointment. Lisa cancelled my appointment without my consent, and had no sense of urgency, did not care the help in any other way. If you cant get pass customer service without an issue, how can this company be reputable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Terrible customer service!!!
